Return to school in September 2020 - a message from the Board of Trustees

Home Page

We have undoubtedly all been through some extraordinary times and through all of this the Trust’s prime concern has been to protect the safety and wellbeing of our pupils and staff whilst remaining open to support children of our key workers, welcoming back some year groups and providing home learning resources for pupils who have not yet been able to return to school.

Looking ahead, September represents an important milestone on the journey back towards normality with plans for all pupils to return to school.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I want to take this opportunity to assure you that we are satisfied that robust preparations and plans are in place, undertaken by our CEO, Liz Anderson and her team, to ensure a safe return for all our pupils in full compliance with Government guidelines. As well as the completion of comprehensive risk assessments at each academy, staff have given considerable thought as to how the they will support all pupils, in all year groups, to get back on track in terms of their learning as well as taking

the time to support children’s wellbeing as they return from what has been an unprecedented experience for everyone.

If you have any questions or concerns please speak to staff at your Academy who I know will be happy to discuss anything with you.

I wish you a safe and enjoyable summer break and the whole team look forward to welcoming you all back in September.

Tim Slade

Chair of the Board of Trustees
